First game drive at Lodge #2 did not disappoint! The hunt was on! We first came across a large herd of buffalo that was being followed by 3 female and 1 male lion. One large buffalo was trailing the group and the lions placed themselves between it and the herd. Once the buffalo got close the lions gave chase but ultimately missed their opportunity. Amazing to witness this play out right in front of you!

Game drive #3 is complete. We got a great encounter with a Mother/Baby rhino, our first Hyena sighting, lots more Elephants, a very shy Warthog that I couldn’t get a picture of and lots of birds!
