What happens when a student performance becomes something more?
For our first Soundtrek, Asheville High School Band traveled to Biltmore Estate to create a cinematic music video.
From the perspective of Biltmore’s guests, it looked like something else entirely.
“They thought a movie was being filmed.”
In this Behind the Trek, Jeff Ralls of Biltmore shares what it was like to host our first Soundtrek, how the students became part of the guest experience, and why he hopes more student performing arts groups will come to Biltmore to create Soundtreks of their own.
As Jeff explains, these students didn’t simply visit Biltmore. For one day, they became part of its story and its history.
We’re grateful to Jeff and the Biltmore team for believing in what we’re building together.
Who’s ready to create the next Soundtrek at Biltmore?
