German WW2 Numbered/Named Ground Rohm Boker Schutzstaffel dress dagger-
This is an intact early dagger from a highly desireable maker. Named to Tomat Ferdinand. It has a ground Rohm inscription, as well as the small Boker trademark. After the “night of the long knives”, it was ordered for Rohm inscriptions to be removed, this appears professionally done. It is district marked “I” on the Boker style cross guard The hanger is correct for the dagger. Some greying in blade, and shrinkage in wood. Feels tight and fits in scabbard like a glove. Grip nut appears unturned. Anodized scabbard has no major hits, and intact ball, however does show some wear. The motto shows some fading, which is always a good sign for a Boker blade, due to their manufacuring process. The age is consistent throughout, and has some nice buildup that is consistent as well around eagle on grip. Clean at your discretion, i would not. Unedited pictures available upon request. Shipping included in US, worldwide at cost and risk of reciever. These are getting harder and harder to come by. No amount listed , or unedited photos due to fb standards.
