German WW2 Numbered/Named Ground Rohm Boker Schutzstaffel dress dagger-

This is an intact early dagger from a highly desireable maker. Named to Tomat Ferdinand. It has a ground Rohm inscription, as well as the small Boker trademark. After the “night of the long knives”, it was ordered for Rohm inscriptions to be removed, this appears professionally done. It is district marked “I” on the Boker style cross guard The hanger is correct for the dagger. Some greying in blade, and shrinkage in wood. Feels tight and fits in scabbard like a glove. Grip nut appears unturned. Anodized scabbard has no major hits, and intact ball, however does show some wear. The motto shows some fading, which is always a good sign for a Boker blade, due to their manufacuring process. The age is consistent throughout, and has some nice buildup that is consistent as well around eagle on grip. Clean at your discretion, i would not. Unedited pictures available upon request. WW2 Japanese Hinomaru “Meatball” Flags

Still have some of these near perfect, unissued condition “meatball” style parade flags. They are 8.5in tall and 9.5in wide. These were found still in the paper bag in Japan. Have a much more white appearance, and not the yellowed background color normally seen. They display really nicely on the end of a bayonet, on the wall or in a cabinet.

Something from my collection today-

I collect (mostly) pistol rigs and rifles of WW2, along with fighting knives. Here is a 1945 Ma**er BYF 44 P38 in phosphate finish. The vet engraved his name on the grip frame, as well as inside the flap of the holster. I was able to trace it back and found the vet was a captain in the chemical corps, serving from around D-Day through the Battle of the Bulge.

Another great podcast series by Dan Carlin - Hardcore History.

This one is 4 episodes, just shy of 6hrs.

It takes you through the Eastern front of WW2, between Germany and Russia. He goes into the relationship between the countries, major battles, first hand accounts etc. He also goes into the aftermath quite a bit.

The only way to get it is through purchase, but the 9 bucks is well worth it, and you can use itunes or Amazon.

This one is already gone. If i don’t have what you are looking for, just ask anyway! Was able to get a customer this knuckle knife the same day I got the message, and for a great price. This example has the markings ground off, and is an LF&C knife, with an Au Lion scabbard. Not for sale.
