**PSA.....if traveling 92 near Reedsville, the state has milled holes in the road to patch. Not sure where the signs are on the Arthurdale end but I didnt see any where I got on. Your gonna be on them before you know they are there.***

3/18: Bundle up Buttercups cause its flippin cold! Middle of January cold! Current temp on the hill is 10 with a real feel of 3! If it was wet yesterday, its froze this morning. Roads seem to be ok for the most part. There is patchy ice in places and snow in the lane where the wind has blown it there. Bundle up like an Eskimo and lets get this day started. Remote start for the win.

**Disclaimer, do not remote start your car if its in the garage with the door down. As the old hypnotist used to say, you will be getting very sleepy, when you get in it!**

3/17: Welp....looks like Ol Man Winter aint goin down without a fight...and Springtime looks to be over in the corner layin down! Get up Springtime! You gotta fight back!! Roads this morning arnt bad. They are covered and have some areas that are a little greasy. The Pike has areas that are clear and slushy. I dont think you will have any issues today. Take your time and leave early cause its gonna take a little longer today. The car will need cleaned off and started early if it spent the night outside. If ya need a little more encouragement then stub your toe while your gettin ready so ya drive a little pi**ed off! Springtime is gonna fight so hang in there. Its comin!!

3/12: Greetings and Salutations! Craptastic weather this morning! Mother Nature seems to be throwing a temper tantrum like a 3 year old in Walmart that didnt toy it wanted.... Currently pouring the snow in P County and higher elevations of Mon County! Low visibility is an issue! Roads in the areas of the County Line, Pike Store and Hanging Rock are starting to cover. Traction was not currently an issue but could be if carries on much longer.

If your layin in bed readin this maybe its a good time to get movin just incase it continues to rip the snow!

2/25: Sup! How bout that wind eh? Ol Glory is pretty much standin straight out with no wrinkles! I take it that if your reading this then you didnt blow away last night. One good thing about the wind is that it dried the roads off last night, the ones that were mostly clear that is. There is some snow that has blown into the road in areas that drift. The Pike is mostly dry until you get to the Cool Springs VFD. After that the roads are wet due to a fine snow that is falling. In town its a fine snow/misty rain mixture.

2/24: Top of the morning to ya! O yea, before I forget, if you get a message from me about canned meat, dont open it.......its Spam!😁 Now for the roads! Roads that I travel are in good shape for a WV winter. Back roads may be a little iffy but if you can make it to the main roads your gonna be golden! Its a brisk 16 Degrees so dress accordingly!

**Disclaimer: I do not travel in the mountains to the east so yea Im sure they are a little hairier over that way but I bet you already knew that. Spring time is on the way peoples!**

2/23: Hello boys and girls! Like a bad case of herpies, ol man winter is back! Maybe hes trying to be like Mr Miyagi but instead of wax on / wax off, its more like coat on / coat off! Here before long we should be a black belt in something! Its a chipper 25 degrees in A-town with a few inches of snow and snow continues to fall. Roads are slush/snow covered in places but nothing that should give you any grief this time of year. By this point in the year, you are a seasoned driver that has sharpened your skills and when Kenny Loggins-Danger Zone comes on the radio you're ready to go! The KW Pike is bare for the most part (almost like someone it treatin it 😉)

2/19: Ellow Govna! Patchy, thick, dense fog is an understatement. Some places its hard to see 15 feet in front of you. Its gonna have you playing Marco/Polo with the road so leave a little early and be ready for that. You know whats more fun than driving in the fog? Hittin a pot hole while driving in the fog! Its like a present you didnt see coming. Rockin out to your favorite tunes and then pop goes the weasel!! Your cars screamin uncle and everything that was on the dash is now on the floor!! Anywho, watch out for fog and pot holes!

2/16: Good Morning Ladies and Germs! A very foggy start to the week! Allow extra time for the morning commute and if ya got xray vision bring that along too! Current temp is 33! It looks to be a nice week weather wise. Maybe some rain Wednesday and Friday but nice temps for the week. Probably will be the last road report for the week unless something changes! Stay safe and enjoy the warmer weather for a change! Like Frosty the Snowman says, I'll be back again some day!!

2/13: Happy Friday!! I will whisper this part for ya...its friday the 13th if you care... I myself do not care and the more important part of that is that its FRIDAY! So shout it from the roof tops baby cause Im ready to GO!!!!!! I was so ready for Friday, I slept with my clothes on 😁. Roads are in good shape for the shape they're in! Put the pedal to the metal! Next stop, the weekend!!

2/12: Happy Thursday! Look there, can you see it? If you look close you can almost see the weekend!! Currently 26 degrees and spittin snow. What was once thawed is now frozen again! Word to the wise.....dont try stepping in the undisturbed snow. The US Olympic figure skaters aint got nothing on the moves I was showing this morning! All I needed was music and judging panel and I was headed for GOLD!! Slicker than snot on a door k**b Im tellin ya! I thought I could just step down thru the crust and everything would be hunky dory. Boy was I wrong!

O yea, roads are just fine 😁

2/11: Yea baby! Hump day! Roads are in the sweet spot and beggin for a road trip! Do watch out for this years pot hole crop! They are growing quite nicely! Speakin of hump day, if you like to tailgate on your vehicular travels then may you always be 15 minutes late anywhere you travel! If it irritates you as much as it does me then maybe stop by and see my friends at Affordable Signs Unlimited in Reedsville! Maybe get them to make ya up a couple decals! Maybe, "Back off Bumper Humper" or "If your gonna ride my butt, atleast pull my hair!". Those ladies can fix ya up with decals, signs, clothing, banners, etc. If you want it seen, they can make it happen!

Seize the day! Tonight the snow returns!
