Long Post.. Hi.. so life lately... I'm not going to lie... it has been a little rough, totally out of touch, I have severely slacked in a lot of areas. With grace, love, kindness and support I am getting there. With that being said kindness is involved there and so is Ryan's birthday!
So you know what that mean's!!! Ryan's Acts of Kindness is a little late but always useful. We made 22 birthday cake boxes for families that are less fortunate can celebrate their loved one's day. They included mix, icing, candles, sprite (to use instead of water, oil and egg), balloons, whisk, birthday plates, napkins, and a special treat. I will post pictures later.
What we need from you. This year Brooke noticed Mission Arlington's food pantry is running low. We still get mailings from them addressed to Ryan and she reads them. If you knew him you know how much it bothered him for someone to go without, and even more so for someone to be hungry. He HATED it. So we are asking for food pantry donations to help stock them up. We will collect until the usual date, the day before his heavenly anniversary November 15th. So on the 14th we will stop. The kids volunteered there a lot and loved working in the pantry the most.
We are looking for easy meals, and non perishable goods. Sometimes it's hard when you are just suck with only cans of veggies or beans. Get creative friends. You can also provide essentials such as shampoos, conditioners, body wash, deodorant, paper towels etc. These things all help. Just think of if you were in a position what would help.
If you feel inclined to spread some Ryan's Acts of Kindness please get with me and we can either take a porch drop off, pick up, or we can go shopping with donations. Sometime's the monetary part helps if you are far.
Thank you for the love, grace, and kindness.
With love, Adam, Ang, and Brooke
