Ryan’s Acts of Kindness

Ryan’s Acts of Kindness This page is in memory of Ryan Fuqua, 17 years old, who passed away too soon. Every November 15th is Ryan's Acts of Kindness Day. Ryan was as loyal as they come.

This page allows us to keep his memory alive, share random acts of kindness and allows recipients to share their joy as well. Ryan Fuqua was a 17 year old, son, brother, grandson, nephew, friend and much more. His life was cut short after an accident collision on his 4 wheeler, involving a truck. Ryan is loved and missed by many. This page will allow us to keep his memory and name alive. Ryan's sm

ile was extremally contagious, his laugh made you laugh, his eyes lit your heart up. He was a proud big brother to his sister and everyone knew it. He loved an adrenaline rush, traveling, animals, adventures, bonfires, camping, his Xbox, music, his truck and to try anything once. Ryan loved helping others out without anything in return or even wanting the acknowledgement. Before the holidays he and his sister would clean and purge their items to give to others in need. If he saw one of his friends needed new shoes, he gave them his, if someone needed a jacket, he would give you his. If he saw you struggling he tried to fix it. If he saw someone standing on the streets struggling it hurt his heart, and he would offer what he had without trying to humiliate someone. This page we hope will allow people to spread random acts of kindness, share what you have done not for recognition but in hopes of spreading joy. We hope this page continues to tell his story, and also for anyone who received some joy to post too. If you are on the receiving end, we would love to see your joy. No act is too small or too big. We love and miss you dearly King Rhino!

On Saturday our family along with some of Brooke’s teammates got together and volunteered at Mission Arlington/ Mission Metroplex in memory of Ryan. We donated two car loads of donations to their food pantry. Put together Thanksgiving boxes for families who need it the most. I took way less pictures than usual, but our mission is bigger. Thank you to everyone who donated to help the cause.

Thank you to everyone from Triston’s Legend of the Cowboy Foundation for your special donation. We got creative and came together to remember both Triston and Ryan on this. They wanted to donate and help us in remembering Ryan and brought Triston’s favorite.. cereal! They came with over 72 boxes, and a fun bowl set with them also. Tomorrow is the last day for us to collect on the donations before drop off.

Hey family and friends! We are 9 days away from our drop off to Mission Arlington’s food pantry. We are still collecting donations. If you are out of state or are unable to go to the store we can also accept Venmo, CashApp or Zelle. We also invite you to volunteer on November 15th, to help fill boxes for families in need for Thanksgiving with us. We can pick up or accept drop offs as well. Thank you to the ones who have already donated. Thank you for always loving Ryan and keeping his memory alive.

Long Post.. Hi.. so life lately... I'm not going to lie... it has been a little rough, totally out of touch, I have severely slacked in a lot of areas. With grace, love, kindness and support I am getting there. With that being said kindness is involved there and so is Ryan's birthday!

So you know what that mean's!!! Ryan's Acts of Kindness is a little late but always useful. We made 22 birthday cake boxes for families that are less fortunate can celebrate their loved one's day. They included mix, icing, candles, sprite (to use instead of water, oil and egg), balloons, whisk, birthday plates, napkins, and a special treat. I will post pictures later.

What we need from you. This year Brooke noticed Mission Arlington's food pantry is running low. We still get mailings from them addressed to Ryan and she reads them. If you knew him you know how much it bothered him for someone to go without, and even more so for someone to be hungry. He HATED it. So we are asking for food pantry donations to help stock them up. We will collect until the usual date, the day before his heavenly anniversary November 15th. So on the 14th we will stop. The kids volunteered there a lot and loved working in the pantry the most.

We are looking for easy meals, and non perishable goods. Sometimes it's hard when you are just suck with only cans of veggies or beans. Get creative friends. You can also provide essentials such as shampoos, conditioners, body wash, deodorant, paper towels etc. These things all help. Just think of if you were in a position what would help.

If you feel inclined to spread some Ryan's Acts of Kindness please get with me and we can either take a porch drop off, pick up, or we can go shopping with donations. Sometime's the monetary part helps if you are far.

Thank you for the love, grace, and kindness.

With love, Adam, Ang, and Brooke

We have just a few short days left until it's Ryan's heavenly anniversary this Friday. We are trying to help get some donations poured in for this rescue. They are also in need of dog food too if you want I can pick it up from you or you can drop it off

Like we usually do, we are kicking off our charity pick starting on Ryan's birthday, and it will continue on until his heavenly anniversary. This year we are partnering with Saving Hope Rescue . Ryan has loved animals, there was no doubt. They are a local rescue group that helps find animals forever homes. They help with vet bills, regular care, anything you can think of. We created a few options.

You can donate via Venmo to myself and we will make a lump sum donation to them to help cover vet costs at -fuqua , through this amazon wishlist (feel free to add anything else your heart desires) https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3DX93O0NDA02B?ref_=wl_share or you can browse and adopt! We would love to clear the list and help them in Ryan's honor. Happy birthday King!

This is a good read to educate yourself on someone you know who has had a sibling pass, and learn some understanding of them. Drop your thoughts below on any insights.

Today is National Siblings Day, a day to celebrate the built-in best friend’s family provides. For some children, this is not a day full of celebration. At The WARM Place, we have eight different nights for peer support, one of which is specific to children who have experienced the death of a sibling. Today we wanted to share 10 things children who are grieving want you to know. If there is a grieving child in your life, we hope this helps you understand even just a little bit of what they are feeling >> https://www.thewarmplace.org/resource/10-things-grieving-children-want-know/
