Precision meets the pavement—or the waves. Outfitting the Key West early with a Garmin Marine GT56 thru-hull transducer to ensure those side-scan views are surgical. Don’t forget Propspeed foul free coating! We also swapped in a VHF 215 and a high-gain Scout antenna to keep the signal strong when it matters most 🤙

Fab Monday! ⚓

Ran into a classic hardware mismatch today: an old Scanstrut mount (6” bolt centers) vs. the new model (5” centers). With zero room to spare under the T-top, we had to get creative with this Sailfish.

We fabricated a custom Starboard base to adapt the new mount to the existing holes. Flush mounted bolts through the base and then reverse studs ontop to clamp down the riser. Clean, secure, and no extra holes in the top!

To wrap up the project, we ensured a watertight finish by installing a Scanstrut cable seal. This allowed us to pass the wiring through the existing roof opening while providing a permanent, professional seal against the elements. 👌
