We want to thank everyone who has supported Lake Martin Lift since we launched!
We've had great success with pre-booked transportation services for weddings, airport runs, concerts, parties, and other special events. Most of these reservations have been made by contacting us directly rather than through the app, and we truly appreciate your business.
As we've evaluated demand, we've found that having drivers available every weekend doesn't always make sense. Rather than asking our drivers to spend hours away from their families waiting for rides, we'll be allowing them to choose when they want to work on weekends.
Because of this, there may be times when you open the app and don't see any vehicles available. We apologize for any inconvenience, but this approach allows us to better serve both our customers and our drivers.
We will continue to have vehicles available during holidays and major events that can be booked through the app. However, if you or your group need transportation, we strongly recommend contacting us at least 24 hours in advance so we can make sure you're taken care of.
We're also excited about what's ahead! Coming soon, we'll be offering game-day transportation to Tuscaloosa and Auburn. We are already approved and operating airport transportation services to Atlanta, Birmingham, and Montgomery.
