Alex went to Girl Venture Camp and we spent the week at AirVenture. Part of the camp Alex got the opportunity to ride in a Ford Trimotor! This plane is nearly 100 years old 😳 but has been completely refurbished. There are only 18 still in existence and 8 that are certified air worthy! What a great experience for teen girls with aviation interest. The friendships and relationships with women mentors is truly amazing. What a wonderful gift from EAA to support such an amazing event!
