Matema beach(kyela) is a town in Mbeya Region which is located on the beautiful shores of Lake Nyasa (sometimes also called Lake Malawi). The Beach is one of the most scenic tourist attraction of Tanzania because you can see how Mount Livingstone and Lake Nyasa (the ninth largest lake in the world) majestically turn into each other. Matema is a fishing and agricultural town where you can easily buy the tasteful local fish.
In the night you can see the lights of the fisher boats which are shining like big, beautiful stars at the horizon of the lake.
