2 DAYS FLYING SAFARI NYERERE NATIONAL PARK FROM ZANZIBAR
Day 1 :Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park (via Mtemere Airstrip)
You will be picked up from your hotel in Zanzibar in the morning and transferred to the airport for your flight to Nyerere National Park. Upon arrival, your safari guide will meet you and begin a full-day game drive across the park’s vast and diverse landscapes, including open savannas, miombo woodlands, and riverine areas teeming with life.
During the drive, spot elephants roaming the plains, lions resting under acacia trees, giraffes browsing treetops, zebras and wildebeests grazing, hippos in the rivers and crocodiles. Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic bush spot while observing wildlife activity and taking in the sights and sounds of the wilderness.
In the afternoon, continue exploring more of the park’s hidden corners, enjoying additional wildlife sightings and photographing the breathtaking scenery.
At the end of the day, transfer to Selous Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, resting and preparing for the next day’s adventure.

Day 2
Sunrise Boat Safari, Maasai Village Tour and Fly Back to Zanzibar
After breakfast at Selous Safari Lodge, you will join an early morning shared boat safari along the Rufiji River, home to hippos, Nile crocodiles, and unique fish species. Glide along the river while observing wildlife, listening to the sounds of the bush, and enjoying the scenic beauty of the surrounding wetlands and lush riverbanks.
After the boat tour, you will visit a Maasai village, meet the community, and learn about their traditions before continuing to nearby local villages for additional cultural insights. Around lunchtime, you will sit down for a packed lunch. At around 14:00, you will begin heading to Mtemere Airstrip to catch your flight back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel, concluding your unforgettable two-day Nyerere National Park adventure.
