Morning refresh with our gentle giants 🐘 Watching an elephant drink is something else, they can drink up to 50 gallons (about 190 liters) a day! And the way they use their trunks, sucking up water and spraying it into their mouths, is just incredible. One trunk can even hold around 2.5 gallons at a time.

Waking up to this view is something we’ll never get used to. Just golden light, open plains as far as you can see, and animals wandering by like it’s the most natural thing in the world. There’s a kind of calm out there which you can’t find everywhere. ��

And later, the soft glow of a lantern in the hands of one of the Maasai guides from the camp. Just to make sure you find your own tent and don’t end up snuggling into your neighbor’s by mistake.😉
