Mam lęk wysokości odkąd pojawił się na świecie Kajtek. Spadochron, bandżi, wspinaczka - never. Samoloty - na szczęscie już tylko, kiedy nie mam innego wyjścia. Awionetki - kiedyś być może, bo to ciągle najszybszy sposób, żeby dostać się z Zanzibaru do Aruszy💙. Mój lęk wysokości objawił się raz nawet na drabinie, wprawdzie była wysoka i chwiejna, ale nie spodziewałam się, że wlezę i za cholerę nie będę mogła zleźć (a miało to miejsce w Tigraj, w Etiopii, byłam przewodniczką małej grupy i chciałam zajrzeć do kościoła w jaskini wydrążonej w skale na wysokości pierwszego piętra). Tutaj, na tym zdjęciu, złapano mnie w locie - odważyłam się skoczyć. Wspięłam się na drzewo, stanęłam na waskiej deskoplatformie, oplotłam udami i ramionami linę, wrzeszczałam, że nie, że schodzę, że aaaa, że dostanę zawału... A jednak skoczyłam. Na dole, w łódce na stawie mały Kajtek dopingował mnie tak mocno, że wzięłam oddech, raz kozie śmierć, i skoczyłam, prując papę, strasząc stado colobus monkeys buszujących w koronach.

DESIDERATA *

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.

Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.

Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.

And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

- Goody morning, Kajtek, it's Sunday, time to wake up! Let's do some digging! - My crazy mother with baby avocado root in soil in her hands woke me up like this the other day.
- Let's water our plants! - she said happily - And look: avocado z lidla seed shot its roots!

Wiosna 2021. Cieszę się, że awokado wypusciło korzenie - jesienią rzuciłam je jako śmieć do worka ziemi, którą trzymam w schowku wraz z donicami do kolejnych przesadzeń (głównie po bazylii z lildla), wiosną właśnie. Przezimowało bez światła i bez wody, w temperaturze pokojowej. Przeżyło, rośnie. Wow. - Patrz, Kajtek! Wstawaj, nie śpij!

6 years ago. This broken elbow safed my life. I came from Africa in July, got a great job as a teacher in September and already in November I was CRUSHED. Too much tension, too much working hours, too many kids to take care of. I was so tired and exhausted that on Fridays I barely climbed stairs up to our loft... And then - when I felt trapped, unhappy and failured - I took my constitutional homeopatic cure which I had from wonderful Arushan homeopatic Doctor, Scottish Elsie. She told me not to take it unless I feel really down and helpless. Coz this cure has strong unknown powers. So I took it and....I broke my elbow. Next 3 months I stayed home. Resting. As I diserved. As I wanted. As I needed. I love you, my wise body. (Ps.I love you and I am sorry to hurt you in so many horrible ways🥂) Ps. Pardon my English!
