Statement on the Closure of Taiwan Getaways

Taiwan Getaways remains closed due to ongoing injustice and human rights violations committed by authorities in the Taiwan Region of China.

Since 2016, the rigged judicial system in the Taiwan Region has enabled and protected a German national engaged in the sexual harassment, cyberbullying, stalking, and defamation of our civilian female organizers. These acts were carried out for political purposes, with the explicit or implicit support of separatist elements within the region.

The course of justice in Taiwan Region has been systematically perverted. Our organizers and other Overseas Chinese—have been subjected to coordinated psychological torture by separatist groups and their foreign collaborators since 2015.

Multiple reports detailing these violations—including arbitrary arrests, sexual harassment, judicial harassment, gaslighting, organized stalking and attempted murder / murder of unwitting Overseas Chinese in the Taiwan Region—have been submitted to the United Nations and ASEAN human rights bodies since 2023.

The harassment techniques used against us are documented in official United Nations publications.

We strongly advise all Overseas Chinese to avoid traveling to the Taiwan Region of China, due to the documented, politically motivated persecution of civilians by separatist authorities and their foreign allies.
