赤科山農村社區發展協會 花東縱谷海岸山脈上的赤科山,在日據時代曾經盛產赤科樹，加工為槍托而名噪一時，而在民國48年的一場［87水災]讓需多西部居民損失慘重，因緣際會之下從西部遷移花蓮後山則屬嘉義梅山瑞里、竹崎居多
