First HAJJ 2026 Flight Departing from Monastir International Airport

Monastir Habib Bourguiba International Airport proudly marked today the departure of the first HAJJ 2026 flight, reaffirming its key role as a major gateway for pilgrimage travel and its strong operational capacity in handling large-scale passenger movements during important national religious seasons.

This first Flight, TU5005, operated by Tunisair and bound for Medina, departed at 6:35 PM carrying 261 pilgrims,
in the presence of Mr. Issa Moussa, Governor of Monastir, alongside TAV Tunisia’s management and officials from Monastir Airport authorities, highlighting the strong coordination and commitment of all stakeholders involved in ensuring a smooth and successful pilgrimage season.

This inaugural flight officially launches the HAJJ 2026 flight program from Monastir, with several additional rotations scheduled throughout May and June .
