Not a standard Varianta 44 by a long way, she comes with a custom teak interior, decks and port and companionway mosquito screens. A big drop leaf dining table which would easily seat 6-8 for dining, hides a Bushman portable fridge / freezer and she has custom made canopies, bimini, wheel cover, boat awning, foredeck sun lounger mattresses and cockpit cushions.
The Previous owners ordered the boat in Germany in 2011 and commissioned her
in Goa, India in 2012. She has never been chartered or grounded and has only 940 Hrs on her super clean Volvo engine.
Comprehensive refit in January 2023 in Royal Phuket Marina, including all new
electronic instruments, a full rigging survey, all new canvas sail covers (stack pack, bimini and dodger). New Winston LiFePo battery system with six solar panels, inverters and Victron regulators sporting remote monitoring. A new gas system for the cooker. New mainsail and UV protection on jib.
She was stripped of all old bottom paint dried out for three weeks and antifouling paint professionally applied (three coats of epoxy primer and three coats of antifouling) then her topsides polished within an inch of her life.
The engine had a full engine service by Volvo AME Phuket and the fuel and water tanks cleaned inside.
All the through hull fittings have been replaced with True Design fittings and new custom dinghy davits fitted.
She has a new S/S bowsprit, the windlass has been serviced and she has 60m of new anchor chain.
