📌 Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) Announced

• Starting May 1, 2025, Thailand’s Immigration Bureau will introduce the TDAC, a digital replacement for the paper TM.6 card, officials revealed.

• It’s mandatory for all foreigners entering Thailand (*) via air, land, or sea. You can apply effortlessly at tdac.info, with iOS and Android apps planned for release soon, per the ministry.

• The TDAC leverages smart technology to streamline immigration, ensuring a fast, secure arrival. Beyond convenience, it supports public health and enhances traveler assistance, making your journey to Thailand’s temples, beaches, or markets even better, authorities noted.

• Apply up to three days before your trip, providing passport details, travel itinerary, accommodation, and health info. Travelers from high-risk areas (as flagged by the Ministry of Public Health) in the prior 14 days may need additional details. Once submitted, you’ll receive a downloadable TDAC or emailed QR code to present at immigration on arrival and departure. Group applications and edits are supported for added flexibility.

• The TDAC is not a visa, the minister clarified—it’s a digital entry card to simplify travel. Thai nationals are exempt.

(*Exemptions apply to consular/diplomatic personnel, certain international organization members, their dependents, staff, and officials on duty.)
