Thai Seaplane พลิกหน้าประวัติศาสตร์การเดินทางและการท่องเที่ยวไทย
โลกไม่ได้มอง Seaplane เป็นเพียง “เครื่องบินที่ลงน้ำได้” อีกต่อไป แต่กำลังมองมันในฐานะโครงสร้างพื้นฐานใหม่ของการท่องเที่ยวและเศรษฐกิจ

Trans Maldivian Airways ซึ่งเป็นผู้ให้บริการ Seaplane ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในโลก ได้พิสูจน์ให้เห็นแล้วว่า Seaplane ไม่ใช่แค่ธุรกิจการบิน แต่คือเครื่องยนต์ทางเศรษฐกิจที่ขับเคลื่อนอุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยวทั้งประเทศ
วันนี้ ประเทศไทยกำลังจะก้าวเข้าสู่บทใหม่ของประวัติศาสตร์
และชื่อของบทใหม่นี้ คือ Thai Seaplane
Thai Seaplane ได้ดำเนินกิจกรรมตามกรอบกฏหมายของสำนักงานการบินพลเรือน (CAAT) และได้ดำเนินงานร่วมกัน โดยมีหมุดหมายจะเริ่มดำเนินการบิน Seaplane ได้ใน ไตรมาส 3 ปี 2569 นี้
จาก 5 สนามบินหลักทางภาคใต้ สู่ 15 สนามบินทะเล ใน 20 จุดหมายปลายทาง
Thai Seaplane มีเป้าหมายชัดเจนในการเชื่อมต่อผู้โดยสารจากสนามบินหลัก 5 แห่งในภาคใต้
Network แรกที่ Thai Seaplane จะเชื่อมโยงคือ พื้นที่ทิศใต้ปลายเกาะภูเก็ต สนามบินนานาชาติภูเก็ต และสนามบินนานาชาติกระบี่ อันเป็นการเชื่อมโยง เพื่อยกระดับการเดินทาง และเชื่อมโยงอย่างไร้รอยต่อ ร่นระยะเวลาในการเดินทางลง เหลือเพียง 1 ใน 4 ของการเดินทางแบบเดิม
และ เป้าหมายใหญ่ จะคลอบคลุม 20 จุดหมายปลายทางทางทะเลในอนาคต
ไม่ว่าจะเป็น เกาะสมุย เกาะพงัน เกาเต่า เกาะราชา เกาะพีพี เกาะหลีเป๊ะ เกาะกระดาน เกาะสิมิลัน เป็นต้น
นี่ไม่ใช่การสร้างทางเลือกใหม่ของการเดินทางเท่านั้น แต่คือการสร้าง “Seamless Tourism Infrastructure” ที่เชื่อมการเดินทางจากสนามบินสู่เกาะ ชายฝั่ง และพื้นที่ท่องเที่ยวระดับคุณภาพสูงอย่างไร้รอยต่อ
นักท่องเที่ยวปัจจุบันใช้หลายชั่วโมงกับการต่อรถ ต่อเรือ หรือ การเดินทางหลายรูปแบบ Seaplane จะเปลี่ยนเวลาเหล่านั้นให้กลายเป็นเวลาพักผ่อน เวลาทานอาหาร เวลาทำกิจกรรม และเวลาที่นักท่องเที่ยวใช้จ่ายอยู่ในพื้นที่จริง

แต่การทำสายการบินซีเพลนในประเทศไทย ไม่ง่าย!

บริษัทได้ลงนามความร่วมมือ (MOU) กับวิทยาลัยเทคนิคถลาง เพื่อมอบทุนการศึกษาให้แก่นักศึกษาอาชีวศึกษา และร่วมพัฒนาบุคลากรด้านช่างอากาศยาน เพื่อรองรับการเติบโตของอุตสาหกรรมการบิน Seaplane ในอนาคต
เพราะการสร้างอุตสาหกรรมใหม่ ไม่สามารถเริ่มจากเครื่องบินเพียงอย่างเดียว แต่ต้องเริ่มจาก “คน”
ส่วนในด้าน “นักบิน Seaplane” ประเทศไทยเรายังขาดอยู่ บริษัทต้องส่งนักบินไปเทรนที่ต่างประเทศ รวมทั้ง ต้องใช้นักบินที่มีประสบการณ์ 1000 ชั่วโมง จากต่างประเทศ ในระยะแรกที่ดำเนินการ
ซึ่งเรื่องนี้ ได้ดำเนินการพูดคุยกับกระทรวงคมนาคม ในการผลิตนักบิน Seaplane ในประเทศไทยไว้แล้ว และ ได้รับการตอบรับสนับสนุนเป็นอย่างดี จากท่านรัฐมนตรี ซึ่งหากแผนการสร้างบุคลากรด้าน Seaplane ในไทยสำเร็จ จะยิ่งยกระดับการพัฒนาอุตสาหรรมได้ไวมากยิ่งขึ้น
การเติบโตที่ต้องไปพร้อมกับสิ่งแวดล้อม
การพัฒนา Seaplane จะเกิดขึ้นไม่ได้เลย หากไม่เคารพทรัพยากรทางทะเล
Thai Seaplane จึงร่วมวิจัยด้านผลกระทบสิ่งแวดล้อมกับมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ เพื่อศึกษาผลกระทบในทุกมิติ ทั้งระบบนิเวศชายฝั่ง การจราจรทางน้ำ และการอยู่ร่วมกับทรัพยากรธรรมชาติอย่างยั่งยืน
แม้แต่การวางทุ่นจอดอากาศยาน บริษัทก็เลือกใช้ทุ่นที่ออกแบบให้เป็นปะการังเทียม เพื่อให้สัตว์ทะเลสามารถใช้เป็นที่อยู่อาศัยได้
เพราะการพัฒนาในยุคใหม่ ไม่ใช่การเลือกระหว่างเศรษฐกิจกับสิ่งแวดล้อม แต่คือการทำให้ทั้งสองเติบโตไปพร้อมกัน
นี่ไม่ใช่การทดแทน แต่คือการเสริมศักยภาพประเทศ
Thai Seaplane ไม่ได้เข้ามาเพื่อแทนที่เรือ แทนที่สนามบิน หรือแทนที่ระบบขนส่งเดิม

Thai Seaplane has been operating under the regulatory framework of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), working closely with relevant authorities with the goal of launching commercial seaplane operations in Q3 2026.
From 5 major southern airports to 15 sea airports across 20 destinations
Thai Seaplane’s vision is clear: to connect passengers from five major airports in Southern Thailand through a seamless network of premium coastal and island destinations.
The first operational network will connect the southern Phuket region, Phuket International Airport, and Krabi International Airport — significantly enhancing connectivity and reducing travel time to just one-quarter of conventional journeys.
In the future, the network aims to expand across 20 marine destinations, including Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Koh Tao, Koh Racha, Phi Phi Islands, Koh Lipe, Koh Kradan, and the Similan Islands.
This is not simply about creating another transportation option.
It is about building a seamless tourism infrastructure that connects airports, islands, coastal destinations, and premium tourism experiences without friction.
Today, many travelers spend hours transferring between cars, ferries, and multiple transport systems. Seaplanes have the power to turn that lost time into meaningful experiences — time for relaxation, dining, activities, and spending within local destinations.
When time becomes the world’s most valuable resource, seaplanes are no longer selling transportation alone — they are selling time and unforgettable experiences.
And that is the true essence of high-quality tourism.
But building a seaplane airline in Thailand is not easy.
A seaplane is perhaps the only vehicle that must simultaneously operate across land, air, and sea. It requires coordination between multiple sectors, agencies, and operational systems.

Many people see seaplanes as too difficult for Thailand — due to aviation regulations, marine coordination, infrastructure requirements, safety standards, and institutional complexity.
Many started. Many gave up.
But for Mr. Kasinpoj Rodkho, CEO of Thai Seaplane, these are not obstacles — they are challenges worth solving.
As both a commercial pilot and a business leader from one of Thailand’s fashion industry families, he sees the world differently.

In workforce development, the company has signed an MOU with Thalang Technical College to provide scholarships and support the development of future aircraft maintenance personnel for the emerging seaplane industry.

Thailand also currently lacks qualified seaplane pilots. During the initial phase, the company will send Thai pilots abroad for training and work with experienced international seaplane pilots with over 1,000 flight hours.
Discussions have already taken place with Thailand’s Ministry of Transport regarding long-term seaplane pilot development within the country — an initiative that has received strong support and could significantly accelerate the industry’s growth.
Growth must go hand in hand with environmental responsibility
Seaplane development cannot happen without respecting marine ecosystems.
Thai Seaplane is collaborating with Kasetsart University on environmental impact research covering coastal ecosystems, marine traffic, and sustainable coexistence with natural resources.
Even the company’s aircraft mooring buoys are being designed to function as artificial reefs, providing habitats for marine life.
Because modern development is no longer about choosing between the economy and the environment — it is about enabling both to grow together.
This is not about replacement.
It is about strengthening the nation.
Thai Seaplane is not here to replace ferries, airports, or existing transportation systems.
