A bothersome crick in the neck from sleeping wrongly left me with a deep muscle ache and an inability to turn my neck fully. I put on pain relief patches for quick relief whilst rushing out the door for a pop up, but it didn't help, and I suffered through the day in agony 😭

Managed to hop on the Company of Good bandwagon just in time for the 10th anniversary! Met fellow women entrepreneurs who have inspired me, supported me, and who continue to guide me on this path towards a better future for society. We were especially touched and ecstastic to see Daphne because we started our brands around the same time, and today, we received our 1 Heart together at COG.

When Hodokits started, the social causes we wanted to support were many, but we also understood the financial limitations of our little brand. As a new entrant in skincare and travel toiletries, we needed time to build the business and educate our customers, but each and every one of you came through for us. Your purchases allowed us to donate regularly to Food from the Heart charity, and this year, we were conferred the Company of Good recognition!

It is a major day for us as we step into our new shoes, being recognized as a purpose-driven company, we honestly could not have done it without your support!

What an exhilarating weekend it turned out to be, with crowds thronging AACF! WOW you guys!!! We almost understood what cabin fever must feel like, cos we couldn't move beyond our booth space! 🤣🤣

So happy to meet fellow vendors who have now become friends, people who visit us and feed us, people who encouraged and supported us, sharing stories and laughter.

Such a lovely crowd turned up and everyone was happy and respectful despite the crazy queues that ensued! We love that you patiently waited to come see the varied booths within the hall, and we hope everyone found something for their heart!

When you are allergic to sunshine, but you live on a tropical island.
When you are so tired, you barely have energy to lift your eyelids.
When you are so sick, but you are surrounded by a community of loving people!

The weekend left us battling the heat and a migraine that drained us flat, but the market remained in operation.

Cue the most loving community of business owners who offered massages, acupressure, food, drinks, essential oils, therapeutic advice and hacks for getting better, and even offered to help me pack up so I could rest.

Grateful for these ladies, some of whom I am meeting only for the first time ❤️ Thank you for taking care of me!

And that, made our day 🤩
Two friends who stopped at our booth at Hobbies Fair, trying on everything that piqued their curiosity. Hodokits did not set out to be a fragrance brand, nor did we set out to have the best smelling products.

Hodokits started because we saw a gap in the market where travel toiletries was concerned. Good products that worked for most skin types in different climates, multi-purpose items that served a plethora of issues instead of a tub, a bottle, a tube, for individual problems.

We also wanted to serve the community at large and contribute to a better environment. Hence, 5% of our proceeds have been going to a food charity since Day One, our packaging is minimised as much as possible, no fancy boxes or wrappings, and our leak-resistant travel pouches are upcycled from banners.

We enjoyed a wild weekend with friends, kitties, crafts, and food galore! The crowd was great though we kinda stuck out a little like a sore thumb, not quite fitting in the 'hobbies' category.

But boy did the .sg team rock the weekend! There were so many fun filled activities, competitions, talks and interactions going on, no one could say they were bored 😍 and all vendors were provided with water to keep us chatting away 🤭🤭

For everyone who stopped to frown a little at our setup, ask questions about our products and especially those who brought a piece of us home, thank you for making our day!

See you this coming weekend at Dunearn Village, Level 1 Main Atrium.
