Kailas Yatra Day 3 🚍🏔️✨

We left Kathmandu for Syaphrubesi and the bus ride felt less like a road trip and more like a roller coaster ride through the Himalayas 😅
But between the bumps, sharp turns, mantra chanting, bhajans, laughter, and nonstop bus snacks… the journey became unforgettable. 🙏🎶🍫

By evening we reached the beautiful little riverside town of Syaphrubesi, nestled along the banks of the Trishuli River. Calm mountains, cold breeze, happy faces… and excitement building for tomorrow’s journey to Kerung. ❤️⛰️

The mountains are testing us already… but the vibe is still full college trip mode 😄

Day 3 of Kailas Yatra ❤️🏔️
Kathmandu turned into our warm-up ground before the real adventure begins. From temple vibes to trekking mode, from birthday celebrations to endless laughter… the group energy is getting stronger every day.

Strangers are slowly becoming a travel family.
And somewhere between chai breaks, leg-pulling, prayers, and chaos… Kailash mood has officially started. ✨

Day 2 of the Kailas Yatra had a completely different vibe. 🙏✨
From peaceful temples and ancient stupas in Kathmandu to endless laughter over lunch stops and shopping breaks — the day had everything.

We prayed for a safe yatra.
We prayed for our loved ones.
And somewhere between spirituality and chaos… our group slipped back into full college picnic mode. 😄

What makes this journey special is the people.
A crazy mix of trekkers from mid-20s to early-60s — all experiencing Kailas in their own beautiful way.

The prayers are real.
The bonding is real.
And the teasing? Definitely not going away anytime soon. 😂🏔️

Trekkers@heart begins the Kailas Yatra in style! 🏔️✨

Day 1 was all about laughter, leg-pulling, endless teasing, and ice-breaking in general. Feels less like a pilgrimage and more like a crazy college road trip with backpacks and dreams! 😄

The excitement is real. The mountains are calling. And this is just the beginning.

We celebrated EBC trekkers' summit success with a 5K medal party. Families and friends listened to the success stories! Trekkers relieved the moments!! We had also invited some prospective EBC / ABC trekkers who were inspired by all the success stories! They are already planning to join us in October batch! Which batch are you planning to join?

Some will say this is bunch of Indians posing together. some may guess this McRitchie reservoir and some others may guess that everyone looks sweaty, messy but happy because of a long walk. But I see it as thriving community. Some of us were practicing for Kailash-Manas trek / yatra, especially the day 2 of Kora which is quite gruelling. We asked the community to walk with us and this is the response we got!! For every person going to Kailas we had two to cheer / support. That’s the power of thriving community!!!

🧘‍♀️ International Yoga Day 2026 – Trekkers@heart 🧘‍♂️

One of the landmark events by Trekkers@heart, our Yoga Day initiative began during the Covid days with online sessions and later continued in person. Through this event, we aim to spread awareness about yoga and inspire health consciousness among trekkers.

This year, we are making it even bigger and inviting 108 trekkers to join us! Our trekker-yoga volunteers have already started practicing the flow to guide participants.
