🪖 It’s Helmet Safety Awareness Week!

Before you ride, take the 5-Second Helmet Check and get rewarded.

Complete your helmet selfie in the Neuron app during Helmet Safety Awareness Week, 21–27 September 2026, to get up to 50¢ off your trip and go in the draw to win $500 ride credit.

☑️ Fit it — Keep your helmet flat and level, about 2 fingers above your eyebrows.
☑️ Buckle it — Secure your chin strap, leaving 1–2 fingers of room underneath.
☑️ Shake it — Give your head a quick shake. If your helmet moves, adjust it.
☑️ Snap it 📸 — Take your helmet selfie in the Neuron app and you’re ready to ride.

It only takes a few seconds, so make the Helmet Check part of every ride.

Terms and Conditions apply.

Cheers to safe rides this holiday season! 🎄

As we approach the end of the year and the streets get busier, it’s the perfect time to refresh your knowledge of riding and parking rules.

Top tips for riding responsibly this festive season:
🙅‍♀️ Don’t drink and ride: If you’re celebrating, plan a safe way home.
🪖 Wear a helmet: It’s a legal requirement.
👤 One rider per scooter: Ride solo, scooters are designed for one.
👀 Eyes up, phones down: Stay alert and focused on what’s around you.
🚶 Give way to pedestrians: Slow down and share the space.

The festive season has arrived! 🎉 As the celebrations ramp up, staying safe remains a priority.

🚦This year during peak evening hours, riders may see an in-app reaction test before starting a trip, a quick pause to check reflexes and remind you not to drink and ride before starting a trip. A small moment that can make a big difference.

📈 December is full of social catch-ups, and it’s easy to underestimate how even a small drink can affect reaction times, not just on the night, but the next morning too. So, if you’re having a drink this festive season, please plan ahead. Taxi, rideshare, public transport or a lift with a friend are all simple ways to help keep our community safe.

🎓 Riders can refresh their knowledge with in the app or at scootsafe.com.

Let’s look out for each other this season.
