We are offering two shorter tour concepts in Östersund this summer.

The Tours are 1,5 h long and one tour explores the cave at Frösön and the other one takes adventures kids out on a search for the great lake monster that lives lin Storsjön. ✨

Sometimes we need to be flexible and change the tour concept. For the textile journey 2026 it turns out to be a smaller grupp then plan and we need to adjust the intenerary a little bit. 🧵

The textile journey will now focus on pewter thread embroidery on leather and the intricate wool embroidery of traditional regional costumes.

My friend Ullis and I have been dreaming of making this tour reality for quite a long time! Now it's happening! 🥰

This is a unique tour where you during one day get to hike along together with a tame reindeer. ✨

For people who don’t work in tourism or with welcoming international visitors to Sweden, it may be a bit difficult to understand what this means — but for Mid Scandinavia Tours, it’s a major milestone. 🚌😊

When travel agencies outside Sweden want to offer tours to Sweden, many of them turn to Visit Sweden, the organization funded by the Swedish government that promotes Sweden as a travel destination around the world. 🌍

Only 41 companies are listed by Visit Sweden as approved DMCs offering high-quality tours and travel services in Sweden for international travel agencies. ✨

For us, this recognition means a lot. We hope it will lead to new partnerships with travel agencies and give us the opportunity to welcome more visitors to the place we love and call home. We want peaple to travel off the beaten tourist track to places where tourism actually makes a big difference, create jobs and makes it possible to live and work in the small villages in Jämtland Härjedalen.
