If you’re going to explore the Douro River, don’t just see it, experience it.

One of my favorite days in Portugal was the 6 Bridges cruise along the Douro River paired with four port wine tastings. It wasn’t rushed. It wasn’t chaotic. This is the kind of excursion that changes how the whole trip feels.

I’m planning my birthday night in NYC and I’m stuck on what to do after 9pm. It’s a couples trip, so it has to feel special for my birthday and be something we’ll both actually enjoy.

Right now I’m debating:
🍸 cocktail lounge
🎷 jazz club
🍽️ late dinner

I want it to feel memorable and intentional,
not rushed, not touristy, not “we should’ve just stayed in.”
