The thing about rescue is that it’s rarely a one-way street. 🫶

I’ve been in rescue work for years, but meeting Ace hit different. When I first saw him, he was so frail - 32 lbs of just skin, bones, and the little bit of fur he had left was matted and badly damaged, but his spirit was untouched -He still had so much hope and love in his eyes. Which was a miracle in itself after the neglect he’d seen.

Fast forward to today: he’s traded surviving life in a car for a life of international adventure. 🌍 Watching him grow from a 32lb skeleton into the thriving, happy dog he is now has been the greatest privilege. He’s living his best life, and because of him, I’m living mine too. Sometimes the best parts of us are the ones our dogs help us find. 🐾

Ace is a testament to rescue work and why it matters - they all deserve second chances 🫶🐶🏡

New camera, who dis? Mom is busy learning her buttons and dials which apparently means I’ve been promoted to Full-Time Supermodel and have some homework also 🧠🐶🤓

Today’s lesson: the ‘Flat.’ I put my head down, look adorable, and in exchange, I get treats and she gets ‘the shot.’ 10/10 would recommend this model dog career path. 📸🦴
