MAIS DE 1.000€ EM PORTAGENS NUM ÚNICO MÊS. E AINDA HÁ QUEM ACHE ISTO NORMAL.

Maio: 1.007,47 € pagos em Via Verde. Apenas duas carrinhas a trabalhar.

O que me revolta não é apenas o valor. É saber que os portugueses trabalham, produzem riqueza, pagam impostos sobre tudo e mais alguma coisa, pagam combustíveis carregados de taxas, pagam IUC, pagam IVA, pagam seguros, pagam inspeções e, no fim, continuam a ser espremidos todos os dias.

E para quê?

Para alimentar um sistema onde infraestruturas essenciais foram entregues a privados, enquanto o povo continua a pagar a conta.

Enquanto pagamos valores absurdos em portagens, basta olhar para muitas estradas fora das autoestradas. Falo de Lisboa, mas podia falar de grande parte do país. Buracos por todo o lado, pavimentos degradados, ruas esquecidas e paralelepípedos que já deviam ter desaparecido há décadas.

E o problema não é apenas o desconforto. Estradas em mau estado significam mais despesas para quem trabalha na estrada todos os dias. Suspensões, amortecedores, pneus, direção, rolamentos e uma infinidade de componentes que sofrem desgaste prematuro por causa dos buracos e do mau estado das vias. No final, pagamos as portagens e pagamos também as avarias.

Depois olhamos para a Suíça. Um país onde se paga 40 francos por ano para utilizar as autoestradas e onde as estradas, incluindo muitas secundárias, estão em excelentes condições.

Aqui pagamos uma fortuna durante o ano inteiro e ainda querem convencer-nos de que isto é normal.

E antes que apareça alguém a dizer “se gastaste isso é porque ganhaste muito”, está a falhar completamente o ponto. Estes 1.007,47 € são dinheiro retirado do trabalho de quem anda todos os dias na estrada. Dinheiro que podia ficar na economia, nas empresas, nos trabalhadores e no investimento.

Chamem-me o que quiserem, mas eu não consigo olhar para 1.007,47 € em portagens num único mês e achar que isto é normal.

Não é normal. Estamos a ser roubados!!!
