Before you visit Portugal, know these 6 things first!

1️⃣ Be ready to walk. Portugal is famous for its hills and cobblestone streets, especially in Lisbon and Sintra. Comfortable shoes will save your feet.

2️⃣ Transport is easy, but plan ahead. Trains and rideshares are available, but during peak season, delays and crowds are common.

3️⃣ Start early. Popular destinations like Sintra and Cascais get very busy by midday. Early mornings mean fewer crowds and better photos.

4️⃣ Meal times are different. Lunch is usually from 12 PM to 3 PM, while many restaurants only start serving dinner around 7 PM or later.
