Karbala is once again witnessing a record-breaking gathering as millions of pilgrims continue to arrive from every corner of the world. And this is not even the final count-countless more lovers of Imam Hussain (A.S.) are still on their way, walking toward the sacred city with devotion in their hearts.
Once every year, during Arbaeen, people travel from distant countries, cities, and villages to commemorate the Chehlum (40th day) of Imam Hussain (A.S.). They leave behind comfort, distance, and hardship, and choose the path of love, sacrifice, and remembrance. For many, this journey is not just a visit; it is a lifelong dream and a spiritual calling.
The roads from Najaf to Karbala become rivers of humanity.
Men, women, children, and the elderly walk together as equals, united only by their love for Imam Hussain (A.S.). Along the route, thousands of volunteers serve food, water, shelter, and medical care tree ot charge, turning the journey into one of the greatest examples ot selless service in the world.
More than 1400 years have passed since the tragedy of Karbala, yet the message of Imam Hussain (A.S.) continues to gather millions of hearts every year.
