We're seeking a talented Web Developer to join our team on a contract hybrid basis in Muzaffarabad, Pakistan, with the flexibility to work remotely. As a Web Developer at Roomy, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the company's website, ensuring functionality and optimization.
This role offers a stipend of 10-15k PKR and requires 3-5 hours of work per day, five days a week. The job will commence next week, and the stipend will be paid in a lump sum after six months. Depending on experience and work, other incentives may also be included.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, coding, and modifying websites and web applications.
- Collaborating with design and product teams to implement new features and functionalities.
- Optimizing websites for speed and scalability.
- Ensuring compatibility with various devices and browsers through responsive and mobile-first design.
- Integrating front-end components with back-end technologies.
- Testing and debugging websites to ensure functionality and usability.
- Implementing security protocols and best practices.
- Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
- Knowledge of back-end technologies such as Node.js or PHP.
- Familiarity with database systems and SQL.
- Experience with version control systems.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field will be preffered.
- Previous experience in web development or related roles is a plus.
