PIA has regained 14 slots at London Heathrow as it prepares to expand UK operations.
The additional capacity is intended for the Winter 2026 schedule beginning October 25.
The slots had been used by foreign airlines while PIA was unable to fully operate its UK network, with Turkish Airlines involved in the latest slot-return arrangement.
ARY reports that Islamabad-London services are likely to rise from three to five weekly flights, while Lahore-London could increase from one to two.
Karachi and Sialkot are also expected to benefit from stronger London connectivity, although the final winter schedule should be treated as pending until formally published by PIA.
PIA officially resumed Heathrow operations on March 29 after a years-long absence, currently operating from Terminal 4 for Islamabad and Lahore passengers.
