Bar Darukush. Say that name again. Because 99% of travelers have never heard of it. 🤫🗺️

📍Bar Nagar Valley, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan

Tucked deep in the Bar Nagar Valley, this isn't a tourist trail – it's a 18‑hour raw trek through thunderous waterfalls, emerald-green alpine meadows, and a hidden lake that feels like nature's best-kept secret. 💚💧

The journey takes you through Passu and Chupurson Village – and if you push far enough, you're staring at the doorstep of the Russia border. Yes, that Russia. 🇷🇺

No cafes. No Wi-Fi. Just you, the mountains, and the silence of a place that time forgot. ⛰️

Who's crazy enough to add this to their bucket list? 👇

The Trango Towers ) are a family of rock towers situated in the Gilgit-Baltistan region, in northern Pakistan. The Towers have some of the world's largest cliffs and offer some of the most challenging big wall climbing opportunities. Each year, climbers from around the world embark on expeditions to the Karakoram region to climb these granite faces.[1] The Trango Towers are situated to the north of the Baltoro Glacier and are part of the Baltoro Muztagh, which is a sub-range of the Karakoram. The highest point within the group is the summit of Great Trango Tower at 6,286 m (20,623 ft), the east face of which features the world's greatest nearly vertical drop.

🚨 Search & Recovery Mission Update | Broad Peak (8,047m)

An eight-member recovery team, comprising experienced rescuers from Pakistan and Nepal, successfully reached Camp 1 (C1) before 9:00 a.m. The team has now begun the search and recovery operation on the challenging slopes of Broad Peak, where severe weather, avalanche hazards, and extreme high-altitude conditions continue to make every step incredibly difficult.

Our hearts are with the families and loved ones of those affected during this tragic incident. We also extend our deepest respect and gratitude to the courageous rescue team risking their own lives in this demanding mission.

⚠️ We kindly urge everyone to rely only on official and verified information. Please avoid sharing rumors or unconfirmed reports, as they can cause unnecessary distress to the families and rescue teams.

Further verified updates will be shared as soon as additional information becomes available.

We’ve all been there! 😂 It’s the unofficial #1 rule of trekking in Pakistan’s northern areas: Smile and nod like you’re a mountain goat, even if your lungs are screaming "help." 🐐💨

The views at the top make the gasping worth it though. Trust us. 🤫
