While inside the Hiyoshi mall, we came across a traditional Japanese Tanabata display, which invites people to write down their wishes and hang them on a bamboo tree. I wrote a few wishes of my own, including a call for justice for Rene Baterbonia and Divine Adili, hoping that we can finally find answers and bring peace to their families. I’m holding them close to my heart today, especially because tomorrow will be exactly one month since they passed away and the fight for answers has never been more urgent.
