Weaving the gap of modernization 🏙 and the native 🏞
Each business looks at a geographical territory 🗺, not as a natural system with its own integral unity, with which human communities must find a symbiotic relation, but as a market for its product lines, as a source of raw materials, as a source of cheap manpower, etc.
Dream Weavers🪡 started as a dream, a dream that the general public would be more keen on protecting our cultural heritage such as the many weaving designs that are at risk of dying out.
As we source our T’nalak from the T’boli community in South Cotabato, thus giving them job opportunities. We felt like our initiative should reflect their reverence for their crafts, so we decided to adapt their culture as seen in their works and combining them with our fashionable modernized products. 🪄💡
