🌴 Siquijor Travel Guide - March 15-18, 2025 🌴

Hello, travelers! Just wrapped up an incredible 4D3N trip to Siquijor, and I’m excited to share our experience as a mini-guide for your next adventure!

We kicked things off by booking promo fare tickets with Cebu Pacific from Iloilo to Dumaguete. Our flight departed on March 15, 2025, at 6:55 AM, landing at Dumaguete Airport by 7:45 AM. From there, we grabbed a toktok (local tricycle) to the Dumaguete Port for 250 pesos.

At the port, we hopped on the MV Anika Star ferry (9:20 AM departure) for 300+ pesos plus a 15-peso terminal fee. Pro tip: If you prefer a bigger, comfier ride, go for Oceanjet. We arrived in Siquijor at 10:35 AM, where our driver, arranged by Aries Travel Agency, welcomed us. Before heading to our hotel, we secured our return ferry tickets for March 18 at 6:00 AM—book ahead near the Siquijor port to avoid stress!

Our home for the trip was The Bruce Beach Resort (not included in the tour package, we booked it separately), a gorgeous beachfront spot. For 5,500 pesos each, Aries Travel crafted a fantastic 4-day itinerary—Sambulawan Cave, Capilay Spring, Paliton Beach, Old Enchanted Balete Tree, Pitogo Cliff, Cambugahay Falls, Luganson Falls, Hapitanan Broom Shot, Salagdoong Beach, Man Made Forest (Molave Tree), Triad Caffee—and it was pure magic. Check with Aries for the full rundown; we adored every stop!

On our last day (March 18), we woke up at 5:00 AM, and our driver whisked us to the port for the 6:00 AM ferry. We docked in Dumaguete at 6:45 AM, then took a tricycle back to the airport (expect a little traffic) for another 250 pesos. We’d checked in online for our 8:20 AM flight to Iloilo and kept it light with hand-carry bags only—no check-in hassle, and we made it just in time!
