Low Carbon Transport Project - UNDP & DOTr There are currently four (4) pilot cities engaged in the project namely, Baguio City, Sta. Rosa City, Pasig City and Iloilo City.

The Promotion of Low Carbon Urban Transport Systems (LCT) in the Philippines Project aims to create an enabling environment for the commercialization of low carbon urban transport system such as electric vehicles and active transport. The project is co-implemented by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and is funded by the Global Environment Fac

ility. LCT has three major components: 1) policy support for the promotion of low carbon modes of transport; 2) awareness and institutional capacity development; and 3) private sector participation and investment in low carbon transport systems.
