With the Habagat affecting many areas in Luzon and bringing heavy rains and flooding, riders are reminded to stay alert and prepared on the road. If your motorcycle gets submerged in water, hereโs what you need to do:
๐
ฟ๏ธ Pull over and check for any debris around your motorcycle.
โ๏ธ Rev the engine briefly to clear water from the exhaust pipe.
โธ๏ธ Turn off the engine and let the brakes dry for at least 5 minutes.
๐ Resume your ride, but first check that the engine and brakes are working properly.
Stay safe, stay prepared, and ride responsibly this Habagat season. ๐ง๏ธ
