🚨 FAKE MOCAMOCA PAGES ARE SPREADING — AND THE SEC JUST SOUNDED THE ALARM 🚨
The SEC has flagged multiple fraudulent websites and fake pages pretending to be connected to “MocaMoca,” raising serious concerns over online lending scams, identity misuse, and unauthorized entities targeting Filipino borrowers. ⚠️

According to Inquirer.net (link in comments) and Manila Standard (link in comments) , several fake platforms and copycat pages have allegedly been misleading the public by impersonating legitimate lending brands.

Copperstone Lending Inc. has also publicly supported the SEC’s crackdown against unauthorized entities, fake websites, and online scams abusing the MocaMoca name.

The advisory, released by the SEC’s Financing and Lending Companies Department (FinLenD), cautioned the public against dealing with unauthorized websites, suspicious mobile applications, fake social media pages, and online entities falsely representing themselves as affiliated with Copperstone Lending Inc. and MocaMoca. Among the suspicious platforms identified were:

• buklodservices.com
• flowforthventures.com
• jitsconstruction.com

According to the SEC, reports and supporting documents submitted by Copperstone revealed several online activities.

The Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG), in partnership with the Philippine Institute of Cyber Security Practitioners (PICSP), recently held the CyberShield Summit: Fighting Cybercrime. Securing Crypto — a major initiative focused on combating cybercrime, strengthening digital security, protecting cryptocurrency assets, and improving cyber resilience across the country.

The summit gathered leaders from law enforcement, government agencies, cybersecurity experts, and private sector partners to discuss emerging digital threats, cybercrime prevention, fintech security, and the future of cybersecurity in the Philippines.
