The Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show is considered a must-see attraction when you visit Ketchikan and I think it’s an absolute SKIP! ❌

This is MY experience when we chose this excursion through Disney Cruise Line with an exclusive show enhancement, guest starring Goofy 🪓

We really were expecting a REAL show with the performers, but after every FU***NG stunt they show-hosts invited the kids up to participate in an activity. Between selecting kids, instructions, and supervising - it got old real quick ⏱️

The show dragged, the constant screaming was hurting my ears, and we were a bit hangry/dehydrated by that time of day.

We walked out and out of the HUNDREDS of broadway shows/theatre productions/concerts, I only ever walked out before the end of a show one other time in 2009 🎭

Listen, I joke about wanting a more “adult” performance, but we were expecting something a bit more real. Looking back, maybe I was naive. I like to NOT spoil shows (or watch trailers) for myself and this time it bit us in the ass.

Had so much fun at yesterday’s social!

Such a beautiful meetup at La Serra Gardens. 🌿

With everything in bloom, gorgeous weather, and outdoor cafe seating, it was the perfect setting to slow down and connect. 😎

We had the chance to meet owner Lisa Marie and hear about her entrepreneurial journey, make new connections, and catch up with some of our regular BizBesties. 💗

Glacier Day is the best day on your cruise ship and will put all other sea days to shame 🦭🌊

It’s a day where you can relax, witness awe-inspiring sights down Endicott Fjord, listen in on a whale watching or glacier lecture, and have a hot coffee or an ice cream cone (both my traditions). 

If you’re on a Disney cruise, you also have the bonus of fun, iconic character photos, and the Frozen deck show ✨❄️🌬️

This is one of the most beautiful and expertly curated travel books I’ve seen in a long time. Featuring one hundred destinations around the world the highlights showcased only scratch the surface.

📘 Here Not There: 100 Unexpected Travel Destinations by Andrew Nelson
The premise: suggesting alternative destinations to highly popular ones. Some locations I was surprised the author would recommend over another, but travel is unique to everyone and doesn’t need to break your budget either!

📙 National Geographic Bucket List Family Travel: Share the World With Your Kids on 50 Adventures of a Lifetime by Jessica Gee
I liked many aspects the author included in Bucket List Family Travel. As a parent when you read this, it is not “bible” and stays at the Ritz does not work for everyone. From this book, take away that traveling is possible at any age. If you have the dream trip in mind, take it. Don’t wait for them to grow-up.
