Located in Wanli District, New Taipei City, Taiwan, Yehliu Geopark is a 1,700-meter-long cape famous for its wind- and sea-sculpted rock formations.

General admission is about $4 USD (NT$120), and the park is open daily from 08:00 to 17:00. It is easily reached from Taipei via a 90-minute bus ride.

Iconic Rock FormationsQueen's Head: A famous, slender hoodoo that resembles the profile of Queen Nefertiti.
Cottage and Candle Rocks: Unique pillar shapes formed by differential wave erosion.Fairy's Shoe:
A distinct print-like hollow carved into the coastal platform.Honeycomb and Tofu Rocks: Intricate surface patterns created by weathering and salt weathering.

Park Layout and Zones

1: Features prominent mushroom and candle rocks, including the main Queen's Head.

Travel and Practical Tips how to Get There: Take Kuo-Kuang bus 1815 from Taipei Main Station directly to the Yehliu stop.

Best Time to Visit: Arrive early in the morning to beat the tour groups, especially for photos at the Queen's Head.What to Bring: Sunscreen, a hat, and an umbrella, as the walking paths have very little shade.
