South Beach in Miami, Florida
On the southern tip of Florida, Miami ’s South Beach (aka “SoBe”) is one of the most famous beaches in the country, and for good reason.
The sand is white, the water is turquoise, and the atmosphere is lively, just as you’d expect.
Here, you’ll find rollerbladers on the paths of the oceanfront park, surrounded by Art Deco buildings and neon signs.
Others sunbathe on the beach, next to the purple, yellow, or red lifeguard towers with white stripes.
You can surf and parasail here, or soak up the sun and sample some of SoBe’s Latin cocktails.
This is a region steeped in Latin American culture, which means there are plenty of options when it comes to Cuban food and drinks.
