Job Title: CUSTOMER SERVICE CLERK
Job Responsibilities or Functions
" Provide quotes for P2P, D2P, R2P, D2D, CFCL, HAZ shipments
" Request bookings with shipping lines
" Coordinate land transportation in a timely manner, if required
" Update itineraries
" Provide customer service during shipment coordination
" Monitor terminals in the United States
" Support customers, agents, shipping lines, colleagues, or any parties involved in the shipments
Job Title : Import Operations
Duties and key responsibilities
¢ Handling imports operations
¢ Cargo tracking, data quality control, invoicing and active file ownership
¢ Knowledge in FCL / LCL / FAK imports.
¢ Arranging interstate transport.
¢ Liaising with local clients - like shipping lines and coloaders, service providers and origin agents.
¢ Invoicing consignees and approving origin debit notes.
¢ Approving creditor invoices and making payments to shipping lines/coloaders
¢ Maximise profit through strong supplier relationships and continued operational efficiency
¢ Answer customer queries on the phone and on email efficiently and professionally.
Skills and Experience
¢ Minimum 2-4 years work experience in Import Sea freight in the Freight forwarding industry mandatory.
¢ Computer literacy including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
¢ High attention to detail
¢ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
¢ Customer service and numeracy skills are required.
¢ A great attitude, proactive and self-motivated individual.
¢ Exceptional time management skills.
¢ Must be an Australian Citizen or a PR visa holder.
