Part 1: For those who will hike going up to Mount Sinai: Depart from your hotel around 1am going to Mount Sinai to experience hiking until you reach the top and see the amazing view of sunrise and the Sinai landscapes from where Moses received the 10 commandments. At morning, go down to meet the rest of the group and have your breakfast and continue your visit to Saint Catherine Monastery together with the rest of the group.
Part 2: For those who will not hike to Mount Sinai: After breakfast you will meet the group who climb to Mount Sinai and together visit Saint Catherine Monastery where God appeared to Moses in a burning bush. Before your departure, you will visit Old Cairo, the Cityโs cultural landmarks that span three millennium of Egyptian history. Starting with Coptic Church, where you will see the Hanging Church, dating to the late 4th and early 5th century. This basilica was named "Al-Mu'allaqah" because it was built atop the south gate of the Babylon Fortress. Continue to the Church of St. Sergius, a 5th century Coptic Church. This basilica is built on the cave in which the Holy Family stayed and is regarded by visitors as a source of blessing.
After the tour, you will be assisted into the airport for your departure flight back to Manila.
