We sometimes live in Libertad, Baclayon, or Bingag, Dauis and we also frequently visit Trinidad town.

Every time I'm with the kids, it's just a matter of minutes before women especially motherly ones or those of my mother's age will start questioning their father.

I am torn between lying or just being honest to educate and familiarize them with how things are different these days.
With women of their kind, it seems easy to be honest even if I am met with "HA?" the moment I uttered "solo parent".
The moment I shared the circumstances of their lives, they understood better and were more sympathetic.

I hope for the day when your lives are not anymore subjected to a lot of scrutiny and "why's".

You are the son and daughter of the universe and you have every right to be here, NO LESS, ika nga!
