The International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation’s statement on the Immunization Agenda 2030 was delivered at the 158th WHO Executive Board session by Mancharee, IPSF President.

The delivery was important in ensuring that the perspectives of pharmaceutical students and future health professionals were represented in global discussions on immunisation and health equity.

Our delegate, Simeon Peter (Middle), 4th year Pharmacy student, will depart to Sydney for the NAPSA Pharmaceutical Conference. It's an achievement for our student society and also a history for UPNG. Let's thank God for the vision behind the leadership that made this possible.

Another one will depart in either Monday or Tuesday depending on few conditions.

Happy New Year and Welcome Back Pharmily🇵🇬🥳✈️

Our initiative to become member organization of IPSF 💜has now been elevated to a new level🌏, attending the Congress in an Australian🇦🇺University for the first time in our Society's history, or if not in our institution's history.🙌🥹.

We are excited to announce that we are sending two of our members to attend the Congress that convenes pharmacy pharmacy students in NZ , Australia, Asia and of course PNG 🥳. We'll make mention of them when they depart to Sydney on January 11 🙌🏽.

Our delegation will engage on diplomatic dialogue on Student exchange Programs and research opportunities with Australian universities, network with over 100 pharmacy, biotech, and healthcare companies at Exhibit, attend workshops and education sessions relevant to the professional development of our students.💶💊

The vision becomes a reality with the past and present leadership, corporate sponsors and of course , with the Grace of God that makes everything happen.

God bless.

Day 1 (22nd of Oct, 2024) of attending the Pharmaceutical Society of PNG 8th Biennal Conference as participants under the sponsorship of City Pharmacy Limited.

Theme: "Strengthening the Pillars of Pharmacy; Collaboration, Technology & Community Health."

We thank our key sponsor CPL Pharmacy Limited for sponsoring 10 of our students to attend and Islands Pharmaceuticals Limited for donating a booth to the student society to set up displays of our Society and Awareness Brochures and Postures. Thank you also to The Pharmaceutical Society of PNG under the leadership of Mr. Omega Manua and his good executives for giving us a platform where one of our representative Mr. Simeon Peter, a 3rd Year Bachelor of Pharmacy Student and the current 2024 Interim PSSPNG Secretary and Student Exchange Officer the opportunity to present our Society's PSSPNG's Affiliation with IPSF (International Pharmaceutical Students Federation).

The topic was based on "Collaboration and Partnership with IPSF to strengthen the Pillars of Pharmacy at an Undergraduate Level". We are beyond grateful that we got to show case what we as a student organization can do to tackle the challenges faced nationally and globally through collaborations and partnerships.

As we embark on this journey of combating the issues faced by our Pharmacists, we call for support and extend a warm welcome to all Key Stakeholders, Organizations, Pharmacists, Academics among others for collaborations and patnerships to strengthen the pillars of pharmacy as well as to ensure stability and sustainability within the student organization.
