From Sewing to Selling Digital Products Globally – My Online Business Journey

When I started my online business journey back in 2020, I had no idea how far it would take me. I began by writing sewing eBooks on how to sew men’s shirts, meri blouses, sundresses, shirt dresses, and jumpsuits. I was selling locally until 2023, when I decided to automate it because it was so overwhelming for me to individually respond to potential customers.

It wasn’t easy. I had NO ONE to guide me.
I bought courses, learned from scratch, set up my domain, built my own website, integrated it, created funnels—the whole thing was trial and error.

Finally, I launched www.iamdockery.com, but there was one big problem: no payment gateway available for Papua New Guineans. I couldn’t sell my products!

After searching high and low, I stumbled upon a YouTube video by a fellow Papua New Guinean (a big thank you to this brother - will find the video later and acknowledge him in my post) who shared how to open a PayPal account in restricted countries like PNG. That one video was a game changer. I followed the steps, opened my account, and finally I could receive payments! The platform I joined too was an all in one marketing platform where email automation was a feature apart from all the amazing features it has.

That breakthrough inspired me to write a FREE eBook on how to open a PayPal account and start receiving payments even from countries like PNG. You can download it for free on my website.

Fast forward to now, I earn in USD, withdraw directly to my account, and make money online through eBooks, courses, funnels, and affiliate marketing.
