We are proud to partner with the Electoral Commission to airlift ballot boxes for polling in the Dei Open Electorate, Western Highlands Province.

Three additional consignments are at the airport, ready to be airlifted to the rural villages of Mintim, Rangwan, and Kurunga.

Our CEO, Capt. James Pima, is personally involved in loading fuel drums for a Telikom tower to fuel and support communication services in Mt. Kegum. Using long-line sling operations, we safely lift and transport cargo to remote and rugged locations where road access is impossible.

Meet Our Senior Load Master – Kennedy Ipa
Helicopter Load Master Since 1997

My name is Kennedy Ipa, and I’ve been working as a Helicopter Load Master since 1997.
My job involves rigging cargo, supporting exploration and seismic operations, and helping lift mobile telecommunication towers and general cargo and charter using helicopters. I’ve worked alongside many experienced pilots and have gained extensive knowledge in sling operations, carrying cargo beneath the helicopter.
What I love most about my job is traveling across Papua New Guinea. From flying over mountains to rivers and dense forests, every journey offers a breathtaking view. Of course, sometimes the weather can be a challenge and delay our flights.
We also handle dangerous goods, so safety is always our top priority. Regular safety training ensures we protect not just ourselves but everyone involved in the operation.
Every flight brings a new experience. I’m proud to serve as the Senior Load Master at Heli Solutions Limited.

When roads can’t reach places like Mt. Kegum in Mt. Hagen, our choppers step in. Heli Solutions flies fuel and crew to power Telikom towers. It’s tough work, but it keeps the network running strong so people in the highlands can stay connected every day, no matter what.

Our BK117 chopper, under the command of Capt. James Pima, successfully carried out the extraction of ballot boxes and presiding officers from Kairik Airport, Porgera to Mommers Oval, Wabag Town.

Another Medivac successfully conducted by Captain Paul Boga just in the nick of time before last light in Wewak.
Launching from Kagamuga Airport, Mt Hagen in Western Highlands Province at 3:55pm, conducting a successful search and rescue mission of 6 Chinese Nationals at AML , inland of Dagua Station in East Sepik Province and safely returning them to Boram Airport, Wewak at 6:46 pm.
Congratulations to a well coordinated and executed life saving mission by Team Heli Solutions and we extend our word of gratitude to all personnels involved in making this last minute end of day request another truely memorable Remembrance Day event.
