The aim of this fly-in is to give pilots, aero clubs, flying schools and other aviation organisations the opportunity to spend the weekend in the company of other pilots, to compare aircraft, and enjoy
impromptu activities such as aerobatics, formation flights, and scenic flights. All against the backdrop of beautiful Fiordland with all its excellent facilities and attractions.

In recognition of a similar event in the late 80s we are calling this the Manapouri Air Pageant! Starting with arrivals on Friday evening join us in the aeroclub hangar for a session of the original Top Gun and some pizza and drinks (Raybans optional). Saturday will see more arrivals and the chance to explore our beautiful area and maybe fly up to Milford Sound? Round the day off with some aerobatics displays and other demonstrations before dinner at the terminal with some of Southland’s renowned pilots regaling you with tales of daring do!
