IT'S HAPPENING 🙌

Queenstown Trails is thrilled to announce the Jacks Point to Frankton Trail is on track to begin construction later this year.

Starting at Lake Tewa and heading north through Hanley Farm, Woolbrae and Park Ridge subdivisions before rejoining the wider trail network at Kawarau Falls - this will be a genuine game-changer for commuters, cyclists and families in our fastest-growing suburbs.

Thanks to generous grants from Central Lakes Trust, Darby Partners and Park Ridge, and an incredible community fundraising effort, we're almost at our target. Detailed design is complete and pending road safety audit sign-off, construction tender goes out mid-winter.

This one's been a long time coming - and it wouldn't exist without your support 💚 More funding announcements to follow.

The oldest winery in the South Island of New Zealand has just opened a new cellar door on the Gibbston wine trail. 🍷

Monte Christo Winery was founded in 1864 by French goldminer Jean Désiré Féraud — the man who planted Central Otago's very first vines. Their new cellar door sits inside the restored stone stables of the 1860s Gibbston Hotel, an original goldrush resting point on the road through the wine region.

We tasted through their portfolio:

🍷 Chardonnay '24 (just released)
