VAN LIFE WITH US
But, where are the kids? Both are sound asleep, tucked in comfortably inside the van. We could have had them bouncing around and filling the air with noise, but this night, God has given us a quiet gift - just us, cooking and eating in peace. A dinner date inside the van, a reminder that even the small details of rest and togetherness come from Him.
And today, we celebrate the Dad who is not only skilled in building - a van, a meal, a home - but also in building his life on Christ, the sure foundation. More than a craftsman with his hands, he is a wise builder of faith, patience, and love in our family. He is also a king in his own right, not by crown or throne, but by the way he rules his heart with humility, his home with gentleness, and his days with integrity.
This Father’s Day, I thank the Lord for a husband who wears both the mantle of a builder and the honor of a king - steady, strong, and surrendered to God. His love and faith are not just supports for our family’s journey, they are the very beams and pillars on which we lean.
