A Special day today, Handing over our two newest additions to the fleet. Our first two of the new model - 2024 Kenworth K220’s about to hit the road. A very special vehicle with many top-notch features, one will be based in our Morrinsville Depot the other based in our Rolleston Depot.
Team Vowles are proud to present these today to two deserving drivers.
Congratulations James Lyttle Williams and Quentin Smith.

James started with us in August 2019 on a Class 2 License and has worked his way through the licenses. Based in Morrinsville for the first 3 years he then relocated to our Rolleston Branch
Quinn Started with us in Sept 2019 on a class 4 license, obtaining his Class 5L only two weeks later.
Both drivers have been part of the VTL family for over 5 years, starting in our local fleet eventually moving into our linehaul team after showing lots of heart, passion and potential. They are both pretty stoked to be upgraded from their current K200’s to these new designer K220 Kenworth’s. Road ready to clock up a few more kilometers. Travel safe boys. Congratulations.

The FC Nelson U13 Football Team attended a Tournament in Christchurch this week, where they have made themselves, their club and their sponsors proud, with some fantastic play and awesome results. Vowles Transport are proud to have been apart of making it possible for the team to attend. Good work boys. A solid effort.

Introducing VTL38 6x4 Tipper Euro 6 CF DAF. Our latest addition, hooked up to a 2023 T&G 5 axle Trailer. Proudly representing the DAF Emblem she powers along quite comfortably with a 13 litre PACCAR 530hp engine and bolted up to a TraXon automated gearbox, so effortless to drive and super smooth to operate. Piloting this pride of the Bulk fleet is Andy who loves the newer version of his older DAF and enjoying the auto, just itching to get out and stretch her legs. Enjoy Andy.

Well what a year its been. As Christmas is fast approaching, we thought it was a great time to reflect.
Little bit of good vibes to share in a somewhat challenging year and in these times it’s great to be able to share the positive stuff
First up 2022 6x4 Hino 500 Curtain sider piloted by Paul Fitzpatrick
Next up Skinny’s 2022 8x4 650S Scania plus 5axle trailer curtain sider, Then came along Dallas’s 2022 Fatcab 6x4 K200 Kenworth
Right behind that was Josh’s 2022 8x4 K200 Kenworth plus Roadmaster 5 axle pull trailer.
Not to be left out Jeremys 2022 6x4 650S Scania Tractor unit and its sister
Operated by Ra another 2022 6x4 650S Scania Tractor unit.

Certainly a sharp looking fleet of which the boys and gals super proud to be a part of well done to the Vowles Team for making these sorts of things happen.
