Te Huia is a public transport rail service, operated in partnership by Waikato Regional Council and Kiwirail. Te Huia is a trial service, which is funded for five years until mid-2026. Connecting passengers from Waikato to Auckland, Te Huia stops at six stations between Frankton (Hamilton) and the Strand (Auckland), along the main trunk line railway of the North Island of Aotearoa, New Zealand.
